Privacy Policy
Couples Conversations™ website · Last updated: October 16, 2026
This website, couples-conversations.com, is run by A Sytner Consulting LLC (“we,” “us”), the company behind Couples Conversations™ and the work of Dr. Ari Sytner. This policy explains what information the website collects, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have.
The Couples Conversations app has its own privacy policy, because the app works differently: almost everything in the app stays on your phone. You can read the app policy here.
The short version
- We collect the information you choose to give us, such as your name and email when you ask for the free workbook, and your billing or mailing details when you buy something or request a free book.
- We use cookies and tracking tools from Meta, Google and TikTok to understand how the site is used and to measure and show our ads.
- We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never see or store your full card number.
- You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
Information you give us
- Your name and email address, when you sign up for the free workbook, a field guide or other resources. We use them to send what you asked for and, after that, relationship tips, new resources and offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Purchase details, when you buy something from us, such as your name, email, and billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. They handle your card or account details directly; we receive confirmation of the purchase, not your full card number.
- Your mailing address, when you request a free printed book. We use it only to send the book.
- Anything you send us, such as an email to hello@couples-conversations.com or a reply to one of our emails.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools that record things such as the pages you visit, how you arrived, the device and browser you use, and whether you signed up or bought something. We use these tools:
- Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads and TikTok Pixel, to measure whether our ads work and to show our ads to people who have visited the site or who may be interested in it.
These companies may combine this information with what they already know about you, under their own privacy policies. You can limit this by adjusting your browser’s cookie settings, using your ad settings on Meta and Google, or installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Who helps us run the site
We share information only with the service providers that help us operate: Systeme.io (our website, forms, checkout and email platform), Stripe and PayPal (payments), Meta, Google and TikTok (analytics and advertising), and the printing and shipping providers who mail free books. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Under some US state laws, letting advertising platforms collect information through their pixels can count as “sharing” for targeted advertising. If you would like us to stop that for you, email us and we will honor the request, and you can also use the browser and ad settings above.
Your choices and rights
- Emails: unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of any email.
- Access, correction and deletion: email hello@couples-conversations.com and we will respond.
Depending on where you live (for example the European Union, the United Kingdom, Israel or certain US states such as California), you may also have the right to object to or restrict how we use your information, to receive a copy of it, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent (for marketing emails and, where required, advertising cookies), on performing a purchase you made, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the site.
How long we keep information
We keep your email for as long as you stay subscribed. We keep purchase records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Mailing addresses for free books are kept only as long as needed to send the book. When you ask us to delete your information, we remove it unless the law requires us to keep it.
Where your information is stored
Our service providers may store and process information in the United States, the European Union and other countries. When information moves between countries, we rely on these providers’ standard legal safeguards for international transfers.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website or email system is completely secure.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, please email us and we will delete it.
Education, not therapy
Couples Conversations materials are for informational and educational purposes. Using this website does not create a therapist-client relationship with Dr. Ari Sytner or A Sytner Consulting LLC, and it is not a substitute for therapy or clinical services. If you or your partner are in crisis or your relationship does not feel safe, please contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline in your area.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the website handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
